#Post 19 : Two Wars India has Been Fighting

India a rising superpower in the South-Asian region, currently has been tackling challenges that are too important to consider. Global pandemic COVID-19 has been leaving an impression of its footprints over the Indian economy giving rise to two internal sub-factors which are, migrant workers departing for their home and spread of COVID-19 ascending hike of affected patients. Moreover, special thanks to near neighbors with whom India has also been working to solve border issues.

On 9th June 2020, China stepped back nearly 2 km from the Line of Actual control while, on 13th June 2020, Nepal’s parliament passed its new map covering Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh, Kalapani and Kali river which are part of Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand of Indian territory. Maybe this was just a beginning of air blown out from the mouth of the dragon. On 16th June 2020, LAC witnessed combat (weaponless and without gun firing as per sources) between the Indian Army and the Chinese troops. This has escalated tensions in the capital of India but what has happened remains undisclosed. Nearly 20 casualties were reported by the Indian Army. The clash between the Indian Army and Chinese troops has been so fierce that injuries succumbed to the sub-zero temperature that took the lives of 17 out of 20 Indian soldiers. The dragon is still playing its part in hiding the facts of how many casualties were reported from their side. However, the number tolls to 43 according to some sources.

The world is aware of how China masks actual numbers in its reports and a great example is death toll count owing to pandemic (Wuhan virus/ COVID-19) or whether it is about the face-off casualties. The LAC has been the hot sand since 2018. This means at any given point of time heated conversations dropped can turn into a puffed popcorn scenario. However, India’s strategic movements have seen a robust growth that suggests India is ready for any circumstances. India’s BRO (Border Road Organization) has been developing infrastructures near the border to escalate the movement of heavy vehicles near the border.

To consider its stand on hiking troop activities at Gulwan Valley as a genuine step Beijing has been hiding behind India’s move in 2019 of revoking article 370 and 35A (part of article 370). This suggests that the dragon is afraid of losing India’s Ice crown owing to India’s advancing and bold steps. We have seen Pakistan being crushed between India and China’s border dispute which leaves China with a weak right hand. Therefore, as of now, it seems China has left with no option but to use Nepal as a spokesperson of China using the same strategy. But how long will it last? Are we heading for a war? The answer is uncertain however, China is aware of the fact that its military has the very least experience of combat (if we consider them acting to mute the rising voice against the system else no experience). So lets just hope the situation settles soon.

#Post 20 : WHY FACEBOOK INVESTED IN JIO?

With its $ 5.7 billion investment, Facebook is now Reliance Jio’s largest minority shareholder. This was accompanied by a pact between WhatsApp and Reliance Retail to boost the latter’s JioMart platform.  However, Facebook has been spreading its roots in digital media market by making heavy investments like,   The social media giant bought Instagram for $1 billion in 2012,   WhatsApp for $19 billion in 2014,   and virtual reality firm Oculus VR the same year for another $2 billion.   In all three instances, the common denominators were obvious. The deals all gave Facebook majority of ownership, and brought in technology that the  world’s largest social network  either didn’t have, or saw as prime bolt-on acquisitions. Now its latest investment is of almost $5.7 billion in Reliance’s Jio — for just 10 per cent stake. India is among the largest communities globally for the company, with close to 328 million users. Instagram has millions of accounts in India, and Wh

#Post 23 : Is Artificial intelligence (A.I.) Powering our strength?

In layman’s terms, artificial intelligence means to give robots and machines the ability to think by analyzing data-based information, behavior, or any characteristics. Elon Musk during his speech at MIT in 2014 compared artificial intelligence as summoning the demon and has quoted "I do think we need to be very careful about the advancement of AI".  However, some potential billionaires in the tech world don’t conclude A.I as Elon Musk does. Resultantly, the pull of heavy investment and acqui-hire by the start-ups is being witnessed from some significant market players like Amazon, Google, Facebook and Microsoft and tech giants. In the present scenario, A.I. has been a prime-focus in building automation to compensate for human accuracy where there is a lack of man-power and constant efforts are being made in areas where human intelligence can be replaced. For instance, healthcare, sales, logistics, research, data analytics and several others are the corners of the world where
