#Post 13 : Online education or E- classrooms during COVID-19 lockdown.

COVID-19 has gradually caused shutdown of schools all over the world. In this duration many online platforms like Zoom and Google Classroom have come up which are helping students to continue their learning process. These online learning platforms have offered several benefits for teachers and opportunities for students.
But as there are two faces of coin so similarly there both pros and cons of online education also.

Students are not familiar with online classes, they are facing issues regarding how to use the platform and also facing network issues. The network issues can be resolved and once students learn how to use the online platform, it will be very easy for them to get online education, do the group studies and discussions also. E-learning has helped in reducing the time constraints and digital classroom format it is economical because online learning is cheaper as compared to classroom training.
This lock down situation where institutes are running online is because of the pandemic, which will not last forever.

This e- learning and online classrooms only require a system say laptop/ computer or a mobile with good speed of internet connection. As per the research by Internet and Mobile Association of India, in Nov 2019 rural India had 227 million active internet users which was 10% more than urban India’s about 205 million.

Students can get access to these classes 24x7 as these sessions can be recorded and due to this student can access study material as per their convenience. There are many organizations like- TCS, AICTE, NASSCOM, GOOGLE which have provided students with free online courses during this lockdown.

We came across many posts in these days where teachers are taking lot of efforts to schedule and record video sessions for students and also students who are cooperating with teachers when it comes to online classroom learning. This shows that where there is a will there is a way.
E-learning or e-classrooms is a great resource as due Covid-19 pandemic as online classes can provide education in the comfort being at home thereby helping in securing the future and also in controlling the spread of the virus.

E-learning is the best way to learn during the lockdown, we have to create social distancing but we are successfully following this by e- socializing.

#Post 23 : Is Artificial intelligence (A.I.) Powering our strength?

In layman’s terms, artificial intelligence means to give robots and machines the ability to think by analyzing data-based information, behavior, or any characteristics. Elon Musk during his speech at MIT in 2014 compared artificial intelligence as summoning the demon and has quoted "I do think we need to be very careful about the advancement of AI".  However, some potential billionaires in the tech world don’t conclude A.I as Elon Musk does. Resultantly, the pull of heavy investment and acqui-hire by the start-ups is being witnessed from some significant market players like Amazon, Google, Facebook and Microsoft and tech giants. In the present scenario, A.I. has been a prime-focus in building automation to compensate for human accuracy where there is a lack of man-power and constant efforts are being made in areas where human intelligence can be replaced. For instance, healthcare, sales, logistics, research, data analytics and several others are the corners of the world where...

#Post 20 : WHY FACEBOOK INVESTED IN JIO?

With its $ 5.7 billion investment, Facebook is now Reliance Jio’s largest minority shareholder. This was accompanied by a pact between WhatsApp and Reliance Retail to boost the latter’s JioMart platform.  However, Facebook has been spreading its roots in digital media market by making heavy investments like,   The social media giant bought Instagram for $1 billion in 2012,   WhatsApp for $19 billion in 2014,   and virtual reality firm Oculus VR the same year for another $2 billion.   In all three instances, the common denominators were obvious. The deals all gave Facebook majority of ownership, and brought in technology that the  world’s largest social network  either didn’t have, or saw as prime bolt-on acquisitions. Now its latest investment is of almost $5.7 billion in Reliance’s Jio — for just 10 per cent stake. India is among the largest communities global...
